Each year, our All-School Retreat at Palomar Christian Conference Center (3464 Doane Valley Road, Palomar Mountain, CA 760-742-3400) is a highlight for our students and staff.
To prepare for retreat, please keep these items in mind. Pray with us that God’s presence will meet us there and that we will all come back with a lot more of God. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Deyling or Mrs. Leoncini.
WHAT TO BRING
WHAT NOT TO BRING
No electronic devices including cell phones, music players, gaming devices, etc. may be brought or used during the retreat (not even for alarm purposes). If an electronic device is seen/heard being used, in a pocket, etc., it will be confiscated and not returned until students return to the FCHS campus.
Students who have prescribed medications need to check in with the Retreat Nurse on Tuesday morning at school before leaving for retreat. She will be next to Mrs. St. Pierre’s desk in the reception area.
Students are not allowed to drive themselves or other students to retreat. This is an insurance liability issue for the school. We have adequate space on the buses to transport students, luggage, and sleeping bags.
The office/school will be open Monday before retreat. The office will be open Tuesday morning until leaving for retreat and then closed for the remainder of the week. There will be Monday and Friday school the week of retreat.
The cabin assignments will be posted in the quad area the Thursday before retreat.
Activities include the following at no extra charge:
