All-School Retreat
Each year, our All-School Retreat at Pine Valley Bible Conference Center (8668 Pine Creek Rd, Pine Valley, CA 91962) is a highlight for our students and staff. To prepare for retreat, please keep these items in mind. Pray with us that God’s presence will meet us there and that we will all come back with a lot more of God. WHAT TO BRING
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Toiletries - toothpaste, toothbrush, towel, deodorant, soap, shampoo
- Bible, pen, notebook
- Clean clothes
- No more than ONE people of luggage (girls, just one!)
- Positive attitude, open heart, and smiles!
- Camera
- Flashlight
- Money for coffee cart, gift shop, snack bar
- Jacket (the evenings get a bit cool; no blankets will be allowed outside of the cabins)
- Refillable water bottle (there are a number of water stations)
- Reminder: Dress Code WILL be enforced. The dress code is in the handbook.
WHAT NOT TO BRING
No electronic devices including cell phones, music players, gaming devices, etc. may be brought or used during the retreat (not even for alarm purposes). If an electronic device is seen/heard being used, in a pocket, etc., it will be confiscated and not returned until students return to the FCHS campus.
REGARDING MEDICATIONS
Students who have prescribed medications need to check in with the Retreat Nurse on Tuesday morning at school before leaving for retreat. She will be next to Mrs. St. Pierre’s desk in the reception area.
TRANSPORTATION
Students are not allowed to drive themselves or other students to retreat. This is an insurance liability issue for the school. We have adequate space on the buses to transport students, luggage, and sleeping bags.
SCHOOL OFFICE
The office/school will be open Monday before retreat. The office will be open Tuesday morning until leaving for retreat and then closed for the remainder of the week. There will be Monday and Friday school the week of retreat.
CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
The cabin assignments will be posted in the quad area the Thursday before retreat.

RULES FOR RETREAT
- All of the Dress Code and Code of Conduct Rules are in effect at all school events including the Retreat.
- Students must remain within the specified areas of the camp at all times.
- Only parents may visit the students, but this is not advised as it takes away from the unity building of the school events.
- Curfew is strictly enforced – no one is to be out of their cabin before 7:00 a.m. or after 10:30 p.m. unless accompanied by an adult staff member. We reserve the right to take students home who violate the curfew policy inappropriately.
- Cabin or dorm raids of any kind are strictly forbidden – violators will face strong disciplinary action.
- Girls are not allowed in the boys’ sleeping areas nor are the boys allowed in the girls’ sleeping areas.
- Retreat is designed as a spiritual event to help promote spiritual growth. Please remember that all school handbook rules on dating and public displays of affection will be enforced.
- All electronic devices including cell phones, music players, gaming devices, etc. MAY NOT be brought or used during the retreat (not even for alarm purposes). Electronics will be confiscated and not returned until students return to FCHS campus. If you have an emergency contact your cabin leader or any staff member. NO SEE, NO TOUCH, NO HEAR.
- Come expecting to meet with God – He will show Himself to those that are seeking Him.
- Curfew is strictly enforced – no one is to be out of their cabin before 7:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. unless accompanied by an adult staff member. We reserve the right to take students home who violate the curfew policy inappropriately.
- Noise curfews are in effect by the Camp Host – no loud noises before 8:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. are allowed – voices must be kept quiet during those hours as well.
